Richmond Session Part One
This is the first part of the Richmond series of drawings under the influence of Gabriela Schutz. Back to pencil here with these short poses. For some time my sketches have been quite linear -heavy lines, hatching, usually with fine line pen or biro. Now trying to focus more on shadow and shapes/tones of the body -becoming less of the natural graphic designers mark making and more of a story of fine art. The relationship between shadow, tone and shape will be explored in my upcoming drawings and paintings...
