Easter Monday sketching after Mexican beer

I wasn't in the right frame of mind to draw this evening... probably something to do with drinking too much Mexican beer in the afternoon and then switching to Peroni. Regardless, it was a very enjoyable session again at the Old Crown and a great bunch of people to draw with -good conversation and a little French practice. This was a one hour pose -I was very slow, no concentration... The model is muscular/toned but feminine -a former dancer and very good to draw. I'll be drawing again tomorrow in Soho... I'm feeling that tonight's session was wasted, because I was... and I should be in a better mood for it after spending the day with a client.

Here is a link to something interesting in relation to life drawing: http://www.artinfo.com/news/story/31083/new-art-show-planned-for-britains-channel-4/

Ha Ha... no blame culture on this Blog ;) I actually quite like this sketch -it was the last pose of the session, t'was a good sesshhhh... the other poses were a little too twee for me anyway. After I left you guys at the Mexican -had some time to kiLL and dived into O'Neills on Queen Street and continues in Irish tradition at the Old Crown. We need to catch-up Dom!
